Natur Produkt is a top five Russian pharmacy retail chain and a leading manufacturer of branded pharmaceutical products. The company is headquartered in St. Petersburg and has operations in Russia, Baltic States, six CIS states, Finland and Netherlands. To finance its expansion plans, the company successfully placed a $35 million ruble bond issue.

As of October 2006, the company’s retail network is represented by over 180 stores in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Voronezh, Samara, Omsk and eight more Russian regions. The company plans to have 215 stores by year-end 2006 and open some 70-80 new stores per year. In June 2006, the company started the re-branding (refit) of its pharmacy chain under the new brand name of “Zdorovye Lyudi” (“Healthy People”).

The company currently markets more than 150 products under the Natur Produkt brand. The products are manufactured in Western Europe (France, the Netherlands, etc.), both at Natur Produkt’s own production facilities and by contract manufacturers. Natur Produkt plans to strengthen its leadership in the most dynamic segments of the Russian pharmaceutical market: namely, the functional food and drinks and biologically active additives.
